Hi Deb,

Thanks.

Regarding the coding I am doing offer any advantages over other scripts ... probably.

I'm planning on including my own little twists - like creating a "drip" system that creates pages on a random basis. Instead of just creating a big 3k page site, the script - shall we just call it "THE SCRIPT" from now on? - will push out a few pages a day - maybe 2 pages today, 55 pages tomorrow. THE SCRIPT can be setup so that your site is done being "built" over X amount of days.

If we want to get evern fancier, then we can have an XML feed created or a Google sitemap page created - one that is updated regularly - and ping the search engines and say "hey, you - yeah you Search Engine - come here, I have some new pages that you might be interested in indexing".

And that "modulus thingy" that I teased you with in this post - that will be the cornerstone of building unique sites - no two sites will be identical.

So yes, I think THE SCRIPT will be offer advantages that make it unique which should make it easier for your site to standout in a sea of soldiers promoting the same products.

Dave,

I'm guessing you will establish credibility pretty easily. You have with me, with Linktator2 and these videos. I would love to understood php better and I learn some more watching each video.

Ultimately, does the coding you do to create a database driven affiliate site have any advantages over the scripts that others are selling?

Brian,

For those people who will get a database driven affiliate site from me - I'm giving you the whole enchilada - I'll have ALL of the coding complete. What I am showing you here is that I know what I am doing - trying to establish some credibility.

All that you have to do is sign up for an affiliate account here - http://www.linktator2.com/share

Once you have that and I'm complete with coding the script up, I'll install the script for free on your site - you don't have to muck around with creating a MySQL database or anything. Actually, you'll have to type in your affiliate id and either your Google Adsense id or Yahoo Publisher id (or both).

Of course, there has to be some trust between you and me before you hand over your login details. Even if you don't take me up on my free installation offer, I'll have instructions on how to set it up - it shouldn't take long to setup.

Hope that helps.

Dave

P.S. - By the way, the freebie offer - both the script and the installation - doesn't last forever.

Dave,

So what about us guys where PHP is still a foreign language? How will we be able to learn and put something like this to work?

Are you preparing to create a tool for us? Or do I need to cram another 1 to 2 hours in a day and study in order to build a database site using "modulus".

Tell me you have most of the coding done for us!

Interesting stuff!

You are probably aware/unaware that about half of my sites are built using affiliate datafeeds.

I am always interested in anything new that may make my life a little easier!

Hi Dave

Very simple yet very effective tip - I'm really looking forward to watching (and learning) as you build this site. It's something I've always wanted to get into, but never known how.
