In this video, I will show you how to save time by being able to download your Clickbank stats instantly for ALL of your Clickbank accounts.

The Salestator script that you install on your site allows you to grab sales stats with the click of the button. You provide your credentials, in this case your Clickbank API info (don’t worry – it won’t hurt) and Salestator goes off and grabs all of your sales stats in csv format for easy analysis in your favorite spreadsheet program.

… to redirect visitors to particular pages on the vendor’s site.

This post is about how to create affiliate software for Clickbank vendors that allows affiliates to sends visitors to particular pages on the vendor’s site and receive credit, i.e. affiliate sales, for those visitors.

Now why would a Clickbank vendor want to allow this – could this be a Clickbank scam?

No, no, no.  Get your mind out of the gutter.  This is not a scam.  This is a way to let affiliates send visitors to the pages on the vendor’s site that converts the best (for that particular affiliate).

Or – hold on to your hat – even to the payment page (if the affiliate thinks a presell page on her or his site can convert better).

Let’s be honest, not every vendor has a sales letter that converts very well.  Why not let the affiliate do a presell and send the prospect to the payment page right away?

You can, and it is easy to do.

A simple change to the Clickbank vendor’s site information, a new page on the vendor’s site and you’re in business.

Clickbank Login

The vendor logins in to his or her account, clicks on the”Account Settings” link at the top of the page, then clicks on “My Site” and modifies the Hoplink Target URL.

Instead of having the URL be something like http://www.example.com, this gets changed to http://www.example.com/cb/

Affiliate Software

Time to make a slight addition to the vendor’s website that handles the redirect.

The vendor adds a subdirectory to the web page – in this case a directory called “cb” <- that’s what the vendor changed in the url information page at Clickbank.

Then creates a file called “index.php” and adds the following contents (similar to the following) to the index.php file

The index.php file gets uploaded to the cb directory.

Time out:  Going forward, let’s assume that you are the Clickbank vendor …

There are a few changes that need to occur to the content mentioned above.

The first and most obvious is to change the example.com domain to your domain.

The second is to modify the contents on lines 3, 4, and 5 to your information.

You can also add more pages to redirect to.  Just remember to add a unique number for each page.  For instance, you might add

4 => “http://www.example.com/someotherpage”,

And correspondingly, you can remove some of those pages.

Once this information is added to the index.php file, upload the index.php into the cb directory.

Done.

So How Does This Clickbank Affiliate Software Work?

Now it is time to inform your affiliates that they have options when they send visitors to your site.

Instead of simply sending visitors through an affiliate link that looks like this …

http://affiliate.vendor.hop.clickbank.net

… and having them arrive at the page specified in your Clickbank affiliate account.  They can now send visitors to particular pages on your site (if you have multiple pages) using an affiliate link that looks like this…

http://affiliate.vendor.hop.clickbank.net/?page=2

or

http://affiliate.vendor.hop.clickbank.net/?page=3

Try it for yourself, here are some live links that will direct you to a particular page and the affiliate will receive affiliate credit for any sales that result even though the arrival page isn’t the first page the visitor sees.

But Wait, There Is An Easier Way

Here’s a simple form to fill out that will create the directory and file you need to upload to your web site to allow Clickbank affiliates to direct link to ANY page (well, there is limit of 3 pages in this case … try out the premium version for all pages)  on your site and still receive affiliate credit.

I bought Dave Kelly and Chris Rempel’s MSN Ranking Loophole, The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole.

I know from previous experience that what is delivered in the pdf manual works (or has worked), I’ll find out if it still works and specifically does it work on getting your site ranked near the top of MSN search results for competitive terms.

When I saw the work “linkubator” on the sales page I wondered if it does what “linktator” does. Yep, it does.

There is some intial setup (which I think is downplayed on the sales page) that needs to occur before you can start dropping one page mini sites into the system. But once it is setup in the way specified in the manual, then all that setup should pay off.

Of course, being the person that I am, there was no way I was going to set this up without automating as much as possible.

I ended up creating a suite of scripts that take care of a good portion of the work involved. I’m offering access to those Ranking LoopHole scripts as a bonus to anyone who buys through my affiliate link.

Even if you don’t buy through my affiliate link you can still access the scripts by paying a nominal fee.

Here’s how to setup Robert Plank’s JVPlus for use with ClickBank.

1) First thing you should do is buy it. The second thing is to upload all of the files to your website.

The files include jvplus.css, jvplus-config.php, jvplus-packer.php, jvplus-share.php and jvplus.php.

2) Next, you need to test it out to make sure it works on your PHP enabled web server.

Open a new text file and created a web page that links to some url, for instance, http://www.example.com. At the bottom of the text file, add the following line:

Save the file as either index.html. index.htm, or index.php.

3) Upload the newly created index file to a directory on your server, in my case, you can visit my JVPlus subdirectory to see an example.

Here’s what it looks like.

If you were to put your mouse of the link, you should see that it goes to “http://www.example.com”.

4) Now add on a “?hop=yourname” at the end of the url. Something like this:

5) Put your mouse over the link now and notice the difference …

Everything should be working now – you should see your name show up in the url that you put your mouse over.

6) Time to do this for real.

Edit the jvplus-config.php file.

Add in links to your clickbank products that look like these:

Save and close the jvplus-config.php file

7) Edit your index file.

Add links to your Clickbank product(s) that look like straight links (and not Clickbank hop links).

Save the index file and close it. Go back to the subdirectory and reload, here’s what my page looks like now.

9) Put your mouse over the newly added links and notice that the link goes through ClickBank’s hop link system.

10) Let people link to your subdirectory with you Clickbank products and have ALL your products use THEIR affiliate link, give them a link that looks like this

Right now I am in the middle of building a system for using Adwords, one that includes tracking results on the keyword level as taught by Double Digit CTR.

And one thing I want to be able to do is instantly track any sales from Clickbank back to the keyword that generated the sale. I recently built a PHP script that logs all visitors, the keyword used to arrive at my site, the referring url, tracking id, I.P. address and date.

The key for tracking sales results is to include a tracking id, TID, with the destination (referring) url, something like this: http://www.example.com/?k=keyword&q=tid

The information after the ? gets stripped off and dumped into a database.

Now I just need to compare that with the actual sales results and compare the sales results TID with what is in my log database.

If you are a Clickbank publisher or affiliate, and in particular if you have multiple accounts, then you might like this script I recently created.

It is a PHP script that you install on your site; there is no database involved, no storing personal information. If you know how to upload a file to your website, thats all you need.

very simple to use. Just type in your Clickbank username and password with a comma seperated each. If you have multiple accounts, then the username/password combinations are one per line. Just like this:

Choose the start and end date, click “Get Stats!”.

Almost right away you will be presented with a CSV (comma separated value) file that will easily open in a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Office Excel.

There’s your stats.
